Istiqlal mosque at Jakarta city center.....right to the east of the National Monument. Being a country with the world's largest Muslim population it is very normal for Jakarta to have a very big mosque. This mosque is the largest in Southeast Asia and can house 10,000 worshippers. Little known to visitors (may be even the locals) that the architect of this mosque is a Christian from North Sumatra.
